About the Committee

The Anti-Ragging Cell ensures a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus environment. The committee monitors student activities, creates awareness about anti-ragging laws, and takes prompt action on any reported incident. The institute strictly follows the UGC and PCI guidelines to maintain discipline and protect student dignity.

Objectives
  • Ensure a completely ragging-free campus environment for all students.
  • Create awareness about anti-ragging laws and the severe consequences of ragging.
  • Provide a confidential mechanism for reporting ragging incidents.
  • Ensure prompt and fair redressal of all complaints.
  • Comply fully with UGC and PCI anti-ragging guidelines.
Key Activities
  • Conducting anti-ragging awareness sessions at the start of each academic year.
  • Displaying anti-ragging notices and UGC helpline numbers across campus.
  • Collecting anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents.
  • Forming anti-ragging squads for regular campus and hostel monitoring.
  • Addressing and resolving complaints within the stipulated timeframe.
