About the Committee
The Anti-Ragging Cell ensures a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus environment. The committee monitors student activities, creates awareness about anti-ragging laws, and takes prompt action on any reported incident. The institute strictly follows the UGC and PCI guidelines to maintain discipline and protect student dignity.
Objectives
- Ensure a completely ragging-free campus environment for all students.
- Create awareness about anti-ragging laws and the severe consequences of ragging.
- Provide a confidential mechanism for reporting ragging incidents.
- Ensure prompt and fair redressal of all complaints.
- Comply fully with UGC and PCI anti-ragging guidelines.
Key Activities
- Conducting anti-ragging awareness sessions at the start of each academic year.
- Displaying anti-ragging notices and UGC helpline numbers across campus.
- Collecting anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents.
- Forming anti-ragging squads for regular campus and hostel monitoring.
- Addressing and resolving complaints within the stipulated timeframe.

- Complaints can be reported verbally; the committee will document the same.
