Welcome to the Dhanvantary Institute of Pharmacy and Research (DIPR) located in Kim.
It is my privilege to serve as a Senior Academic Expert and Professor of Practice at this dynamic institution. With academic and administrative experience dating back to 1986, including my extensive tenure as Principal and Professor at the KLE College of Pharmacy, my lifelong commitment has been to foster excellence and rigorous standards in pharmaceutical education.
The landscape of pharmacy is continuously driven by advanced research and innovation. My personal research endeavors are heavily dedicated to pharmacological studies, specifically exploring rodent models of insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, obesity, endothelial dysfunction, Alzheimer's disease, and network pharmacology. By leading funded research schemes through AICTE and industry partners such as the Himalaya Drug Company, and contributing to over 60 research publications and specialized book chapters, I believe strongly in bridging the gap between theoretical science and active laboratory discovery.
At DIPR, my central focus is on student mentorship and academic development. Having had the honor of guiding 92 M.Pharm dissertations and 8 Ph.D. scholars throughout my career, I am deeply passionate about nurturing the next generation of researchers and healthcare leaders. Drawing from my experience serving on various university boards and academic councils, as well as my recognition as a "Best Teacher," I am dedicated to cultivating an environment where our students can seamlessly translate classroom knowledge into practical, real-world healthcare solutions.
I invite our students, faculty, and industry peers to collaborate with us in Kim as we strive to push the boundaries of pharmaceutical research and elevate the future of the pharmacy profession.
