About IQAC
In pursuance of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) action plan for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and quality upgradation of institutions of higher education, the Dhanvantary Institute of Pharmacy and Research (DIPR), Kim has established its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Operating within an institution affiliated with a GTU-NAAC A+ Grade university, the cell acts as a central node working diligently towards realizing concrete goals through continuous, structured improvement in both academic and administrative performance.
Objectives & Functions
- Establishing Quality Benchmarks: Development and consistent application of strict quality benchmarks and parameters for all academic and administrative operations across the institute.
- Fostering a Learner-Centric Environment: Facilitating the creation of an academic ecosystem that is highly conducive to quality education, participatory teaching-learning processes, and continuous faculty growth.
- Academic Events & Quality Circles: Organizing vital inter- and intra-institutional workshops, guest lectures, and seminars on quality-related themes. (Recent practical implementations at DIPR include Journal Club Presentations and training on Strategic Academic Delivery for CO-PO Attainment).
- Feedback Integration: Collecting, analyzing, and acting upon feedback responses from students, parents, and leading industry recruiters (such as Sun Pharma, Cadila, and Ajanta Pharma) to continually refine the B.Pharm curriculum delivery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining meticulous documentation of various programs and activities leading to quality improvement, ensuring readiness for compliance and higher accreditations.

Faculty Journal Club & Research Mentorship Series
To elevate our institutional research culture, we are proud to introduce the Faculty Journal Club and Research Mentorship Series. While robust research output is a hallmark of academic excellence, the path to publication often feels daunting. This initiative bridges the gap between teaching and research through a collaborative learning environment. Led by our senior, highly published faculty, the program aims to demystify the publication process, decode the current research scenario, and deeply motivate educators to publish high-quality work. Faculty will learn to navigate the modern publishing landscape, including understanding impact factors, Scopus indexing, and avoiding predatory journals. The program is structured around practical academic mentorship. Senior mentors will deconstruct high-impact papers, analyzing methodology and narrative structure to explain exactly why a manuscript gets accepted. Mentors will also share the behind-the-scenes lifecycle of their own publications, from the initial idea, through frustrating rejection and revision phases, to final acceptance. This transparent approach transforms the overwhelming task of writing into an achievable process. Sessions will also offer targeted skill-building on drafting compelling abstracts, using reference management software, and responding professionally to rigorous peer-reviewer comments. By institutionalizing this Journal Club, we anticipate a measurable increase in the volume and quality of interdisciplinary research published by our institute in top-tier journals. Research is not a solitary journey; it thrives on discussion, constructive critique, and shared knowledge. We strongly encourage all faculty members to actively participate in this supportive space. Let us work together to translate our academic potential into published excellence. |

Faculty Digital Knowledge Sharing & Institutional Blog
As a premier institution dedicated to pharmaceutical education and research, the Dhanvantary Institute of Pharmacy and Research (DIPR) recognizes that our academic responsibility extends beyond the classroom. To bridge the gap between academic expertise and public accessibility, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has launched the Faculty Digital Knowledge Sharing Initiative. Through this program, our expert faculty members actively author informative, well-researched blog posts published directly on the official institutional website. This digital repository is designed to be a free, open-access resource for students, parents, healthcare professionals, and the general public. The initiative focuses on several core pillars to maximize its societal and academic impact. Firstly, it champions public health awareness by demystifying complex medical jargon, educating the community on safe medication practices, and explaining critical healthcare concepts to improve patient outcomes. Secondly, it serves as a comprehensive digital counseling center for current and prospective students. Through these articles, faculty members provide invaluable insights into career opportunities, ranging from clinical research to regulatory affairs. They also break down complex administrative processes, offering clear guidance on admission eligibility, lateral entry requirements, education loans, and the nuances of the newly implemented NEP 2020 curriculum. Furthermore, the platform offers practical student development advice, ensuring learners have the academic tools they need to succeed. By institutionalizing this blogging initiative, DIPR is successfully translating rigorous academic knowledge into digestible, everyday wisdom. It not only enhances the digital footprint and thought leadership of the institute but also empowers the broader community to make informed decisions regarding their education, professional careers, and personal healthcare. |

Workshop or FDP on Artificial Intelligence
SUBJECT: Mandatory Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence – PCI B.Pharm 2026 Curriculum (NEP 2020) As we prepare for the upcoming academic year, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is officially rolling out the updated B.Pharm 2026 Curriculum in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This revised syllabus represents a massive and exciting leap forward for our field by directly integrating next-generation technologies into pharmaceutical sciences. To keep pace with industry evolution, the new curriculum introduces core modules on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Python programming, and advanced data analytics. Because these subjects represent a fundamental shift in how pharmaceutical sciences will be taught and applied, it is critical that our teaching staff is fully equipped to deliver this modern curriculum with confidence and expertise. The Mandate By directive of the new PCI framework, every pharmacy educator must attend at least one dedicated Faculty Development Program (FDP) or workshop on Artificial Intelligence before they can begin teaching the updated modules. |
